I have recently bought a 2000 Disco 2 TD5 with the 3 amigos. The Diagnostics machine placed the fault with the passenger side front wheel sensor. It looked as though the previous one had had its cable delibrately cut through!! The sensor was replaced and the lights went out and everything seemed fine until that is we took it for a test drive, even under normal braking the caliper on the passenger wheel was exerting way more pressure than any of the other brakes. It felt and sounded is if the caliper was loose and moving during braking. This wasn't the case and nothing could be found during the subsequent investigation. As the only thing that had been changed was the sensor it was disconnected and the disco drove and braked normally. As the previous sensor had been cut and the new one was causing excessive braking can anyone help with what could be causing this type of problem? Reading one of the previous threads I understand that if the sensor isn't fully inserted this can cause the braking system to miss-read the wheel spead and apply more pressure to the caliper. Any thoughts and ideas gratefully received
