when off road in my D2 the traction control has stopped working on the rear axle but it does work in the front but there's no lights on the dash?

I really want to fix it as when I'm off road it bloody useful.

Anyone got any ideas?

U have to plug a proper tester in the diagnostic socket(hawkeye, nanocom, autologic, T4, omniscan, etc) and set it on ABS.

Self check is when u turn ignition on and the dash looks like a christmas tree with all the warning lights on.....see if the TC light is working then

By the way... how do u know that the TC is working just on the front axle and it doesnt on the rear:confused:

Yeah it comes on! I know it works on the front because I've been cross axled on purpose and I can see it aswell as feel it on the front stopping one wheel and then starting the other and the light coming on but the back just one wheel keeps spinning
I've fitted a cdl and cut the blue cable and it's worked fine up until yesterday on both axles and has got me out the shut before and now it just doesn't work on the rear axle?

Thats why i said to scan the ABS ECU coz the TC is controlled by it......though if there was any probs there i think u would had seen the 3 amigos.

Yeah I don't know what's up with it? I suppose I'll just have to wait till I can get it on a computer! But there is no warning lights and the front works fine as I said and the abs works fine all round so fook knows?

Also it's just had a new Ecu and the rear windows don't work either?

A new what kind of ECU ?...there are more on a D2 ->->

1. ECM(engine controll module) ECU ....engine management
2. SLABS(self levelling and ABS) ECU
3. ACE(active cornering enhancement) ECU
4 BCU(body controll unit)...this one together with the IDM(intelligent driver module) are involved in the windows functionality....

@Offtopic > about the windows
Power to the rear window motors is enabled by the Intelligent Driver’s Module
(IDM) which energises the rear window lift relay located in the passenger
compartment fusebox.

so first of all check relay R3(second big one starting from the bottom)
