towbar electrics puzzling prob

just got back with caravan after a few days away.I have always connected caravan plugs with car going today stopped outside house to drop gear off and went back out to start car turnning over fine but would not start disconected caravan plugs started first turn.Any ideas guys d2 td5

ive worked on quite a few that wont start if battery is a little low ,they will turn over but not fire ,was caravan drawing a current ie fridge

cheers for reply but all van electrics off turned over like noboby's business just would not fire.Got heavy duty batt on van very similar to disco and fully charged.never use car elect for van but connect them as it keeps wires tidy and well off ground.thanks for thought

presume you have the 7pin black socket for the lights and the grey one for the extras.... what happens with only one plugged in?

earth dirty or fooked causing back feed check the earth on both plugs
