Top hose really hard td5

Hi guys I had my head gasket done last year, and I am really paranoid it's gonna go again. I done a 30 mile trip today and squeezed the top hose to find it really hard with a lot of pressure, is it normal? Everything else is normal. Temp fine, coolant level fine, powers fine. Advice really appreciated thankyou everyone.

Hi I have the same concerns as you with the top hose being pretty hard I'm not sure if I'm being parinoid Or not can you tell me if it was a head gasket? I keep worrying about it im still not 100% sure it's not Normal I'm not loosing coolant or overheating

Check the tank's cap ... it has a pressure release valve to keep 1.4 bar in the system... overpressure might occur if the valve is blocked or if the tank's cap is not fully tightened(in this case it clogges the air release hole)
