The time has a come :-)

The time at last has come to look at a discovery it is a r reg 300tdi es auto. The body is a little battered from crap driving lol but not rotten so I no the wings and doors r all bolt on bolt off so that's no prob buttttt is the rear quarter welded of bolted??? Apparently the rear diff has a "wine" that ain't there in reverse or over 70mph, any thoughts on this? And he said he connected a plug togeather and now it beeps when going over 75 butttt has forgotten where the plug is lol any ideas. They are asking £1500 soooo I am thinking £1200 should be poss lol. Can't wait

body is all welded this doesnt sound like a good one to me i would look about BIT more

Its the rust underneath on the steel parts that you need to worry about.

Outer panel are ally on a steel shell. floor A, B, C posts, bulkhead, innerwings rear load area floor etc etc are all steel. and all prone to rotting away.

Thanks for the advice lads I will be sure to be very carefull now! If it's that bad I'll just tell em straight it's worth £1000 that's it lol
