After spending the last 2 years or so making my disco into a very capable offroader it's time to change, the body has got a bit bad and I've always wished I'd started with a 3 door rather than a 5 door.
I've now purchased a 98 'S' plate commercial 300tdi and started to swap the mods over, quite a job as its my daily driver so has to fit in with days off.

Spec of the old one and to swap over is :-

4" lift springs and blocks ( this will be changed to a twist kit with 3 1/2" springs soon )
+5 terrafirma shocks
2" body lift
Adrenalin correction arms f/r
Ashcroft air lockers f/r + arb compressor
H/D front winch bumper with superwinch EP16500 with rope
H/D steering guard
H/D steering bars
285/75 16 special tracks on 30mm spacers
Southdown snorkel
Custom made to length wide angle props f/r
Diff guards f/r
1.6 ratio transfer box ( this is being changed to 1.4 though )
Light bar / cb and all the small stuff you add as you build your motor

So far have moved the winch and bumper over, but stripped a lot of stuff today ready to change, I had just put new rad / starter and alternator on.
And have had orders of her who lets me spend money on it that it has to be painted the same as the last one :D
A piccy next to each other ( little and large lol )

All changed over now :)

Have changed to cooper ST-MAXX on -32 offset D mod wheels for road and greenlane and swop to special tracks for P&P

New addition :) bed for the laning weekends

Stored position, keeps a reasonable amount of room for the kit I have to take to work with me

Deplored, it gives me a 6' 1" X 4' 6" area ( double bed size ) I've got a futon bed matress on order and will be here shortly, jobs a good one :D
Will be trying it out in about 8 days for the first time on a C2C

Plenty of storage underneath in stored position I have oils / fluids, spare shafts and cv's, wheel bearings, brake pipe making kit, starter and alternator, thermostat and pipes, And a few other essentials lol I like to be prepared
