hi i,m just inquiring what the worst case cinario is on a worn rear wheel bearing, ive changed thetwo front hubs , and one of the rear bearings at least needs changing but at 180 a time i have not changed the rears yet, but my son wants to borrow the car to go to cornwall on hols with the grand kids which is250 miles plus from here i just think constant motorway driving might be worse than small urban trips untill i can get these sorted thanks arv
 
My fronts "grumbled" for a fair few thousand miles before I changed them.

The rear didn't show any external signs of wear, until the ABS sensor started playing-up. the other rear is original at 179000 miles

If you have good RAC breakdown cover, it may be worth having a go!
