The hot air is initially nice and hot, but after a short period, cool air starts coming out of the windscreen vents whilst the air coming out at my feet stays warm. I'm not sure why they would be different. I have it set on auto at about 20-22, with econ selected. I don’t really notice it on a short journey, but it becomes obvious (and cold) on a longer one. If I turn up the temp, the air coming upwards, warms up briefly. I have tried bleeding the system but it hasn't made any difference. If I turn the heating up to HI, then hot air comes out everywhere. Any ideas on what the problem is?

IF you have Climate Control then it sounds like it is doing what it should do.

CC goes through a number of different sequences to ensure the air within the car stays at the correct temperature as well as clearing the screen.

Do you have yours working on fully auto? Have a look in the handbook and al is explained there.

Mine it's doing the same, get used to it ...that's what they do....an other explanation is that this mixage is made by the wisdom of LR engineers whom were aware about that law of phisycs which sais that the hot air is rising and the cold air is descending:rolleyes: ...and the in-car temp. sensor is somewhere at the middle.... though on mine i can tell that the air coming up to the screen is colder than the lower one..i cant assert its cold....put a thermometer there and if that air is colder than the selected one then it might be a problem.

Hi, thanks for your replies. I'll check the handbook and I do run in on AUTO & ECON. As long as it's not faulty then I'm happy :)
