This is leaking on mine. Thought I would get away with a new rubber washer (part No WJN101860 in case anyone needs one) but no luck. £38 for a new one. My question is.
Going to plug the fuel filter with a bolt to keep me on the road till new sensor comes. I can't think of any reason why it should cause any problems short term. Any thoughts on this? cheers.

A couple of things:

1. Blocking the hole in the bottom of the filter with a short bolt shouldn't do any harm, short term.

2. Every time you buy a new fuel filter it will come with a white plastic tap which can be used instead of the black plastic sedimenter. No more warning light !!!!

Thanks guys. Bolt is on, but will probably replace sensor. Thanks for link 50p. I've contacted seller and asked if its an OE part. Doubt it at the price but got to be better than a bolt.
