Td5 diesel leak

I've started to notice diesel smell on start up and when I park up after a run out a small (about 2'' diameter) circle of what seems to be oily diesel, oily I think cos it's mixing with old oil on bottom of engine from my last oil leak!
It's position is just off center towards o/s and about level with the bell housing! I've had a bit of a look round underneath and can't see anything obvious!
Can anyone help me out?
Could it be the fuel pressure regulator?
Any advice would be great.

Yup mine did that, pig of a job so we let someone else do it

Did mine a couple of weeks ago, and getting the front diesel pipe off is impossible. I had a workshop full of spanners from snap on to Tesco, claw foot etc. It is a nightmare to undo, and then get the new pipes on and started again not crossed. Not for the faint hearted.
The part sitting on the bench looked easy though......

Others may disagree - but get a price and let someone else do it.....
