tc, hill d and intermitent centre brake light

Hi me discovery 2 (2000 v8) as been down for 2 months whilst the engine was rebuilt, its all up and running now, but there are two amber warning lights on the dash, tc and hill d. ive just tried the car and noticed the centre brake light only works when it wants too, could these be related
