They tried to nick my motor night before last the bastids, first they shorted the side indicator trying to fuse the alarm, next they pulled the barrel out of the rear door couldnt open it, then pulled the barrel from the passenger door couldnt get in then smashed the small quarter light glass on the rear passenger door opened it and the alarm went of without flashers so they ran off, got some poor video from a mates shop up the road of a couple of scum in hoodies running into a rough council estate full of **** heads.
Police come this morning about 30 hrs after the avent.

Any one know if you can buy a full lock kit for a Disco 1 any were other than main dealers. I'm fully comp but it needs new locks and I want them on the same key and side indicator and glass, as its a 95 reg ES I'm worried they may right it off. Alarm system is working ok central locking works, horn under bonnet works but because they shorted the indicators they wont flash they work fine as indicators and as hazards but wont flash on setting or when alarm is going, I suspect a fuse can any one tell me which one it is please.

i called in at thornton breakers a few weeks ago.. they said they had stopped doin disco 1... only did td5's now...

i use one at castleford.. not sure of name of if now for some reason.. its on Lock Lane, as you head north over the river, you pass Gordon Tyres, an its bout 100yds on right.. Really helpful guys..

If you have a look at Thorntons web site there is a '97 D1 advertised now. Ok so its a V8 but the locks will be the same.

looking in rave it mentions alarm types as EX NAS, NAS 94 and NAS 95 what does NAS mean, also it says check fuses to MULTI FUNCTION UNIT what does that do.

Multi function unit controlls Front Wipers, Rear Wipers,Heated Rear Window,
Rear Foglights,Horn,Lights On Reminder, Courtesy Light etc etc (Vary's on models)

I think NAS is North American Spec ????
