I've just fitted a secohd hand suspension kit to my 97 300tdi . now before fitting it i noticed that the front and rear springs were different on the kit (one pair having three closer wound coils. There was no markings on the spring so was head sratching a bit, but then when i looked at the origanal springs opn the car it had the same 3 closer wound coils fitted to the rear, so i therefore fitted the new springs the same way (and +3 procomp shocks) the same way with the 3 close coil springs to the rear. The problem is now the front is sitting about and inch and half higher than the rear ????? any ideas ppl, i dont want to swap the springs over if thats how it should be
