Hi Disco dudes.

Just visiting from the rangie section so apologies if this is a frequently asked question but I'm only on my phone so searching is tricky...

Staying with my parents at the mo and one of the rear windows is stuck halfway down. Is there a quick manual way to close it as it's raining!?

Also is there a usual fault with the rear windows? The fronts are ok, it's just the rears - nobody seems to know how it got opened in the first place - parents don't touch them as they know they are dodgy.

Cheers in advance. Guy

A plastic bag :D:D:D

Try starting the motor with your finder pressing the drivers console button for the window in question. ALso try turning ignition on and off while holding the burron. Works for me :)

Thanks for that DN. No joy though. Seems like there's no power going to either of the rear windows. Are they fused seperately to the fronts?

If you use the search function on the forum there are a few threads on this. The windows go through a control unit behind the glove box on a Disco 1 - but I found that start and stop helped mine so I haven't bothered looking for a long term solution.

Look in the search results, there is help :)

I'm having a similar problem with let's say 'intermittent' rear passenger windows... Haven't looked yet at solutions but sounds like its a common thing, hopefully an easy fix!!
