static shocks after replacing brake parts

As per title really. the car is a 94(m) 300 tdi manual. I have replaced pads and discs all round, renewed the n/s swivle seal and inner seal, aswell as the inner bearing seals on the hubs. Since this been getting a shock everytime i touch the car. it can be sat for an hour or two and i still get a shock.???????????
Anybody have any ideas as to why.
And yes i know don't touch the metal parts lol

happens to me with alot of cars worst on hot days ,is it possible for pads and discs tp build up static

Get a shock every time I get out the works van

First thing the customers hear is.......

"Ah **** it" as I get shocked getting out the van.

though i have learned if you shut door by pushing glass of window you dont get shock

As the car travels it strips electrons and becomes positively charged. The tyres insulate that charge but you short it out to earth when you touch the car.

Blimey....errrrr ......ummmm well

Electrons will 'lift' faster when heated - thats why valves glow there is an element to heat it.

well its only started when the pads and discs were changed. no problem before that. its a strange one

Perhaps it's something for the X files

or maybe a build up of friction between pad and disc. I'd fit an earth strap but it would no doubt rust off my next mot
