Hi all,

I´ve had that bloody SRS light on (and off) for a few months and it is about time to sort that out. I haven´t started going through all cables and connector yet, but read that those yellow once under the seats often causes problems. So, the question I have is what that yellow connector goes to? Is it to the belt buckle ?
On my old beemer I had a sensor mat in along with the seat heater that quite often fails on those cars. Why I´m asking is that a year ago my driver seat almost caught fire due to the seat heater. The heater is now disconnected, and I'm thinking whether my disco have a similar system as the beemer and that something got damaged in the seat related to the SRS system?

The yellow plugs are to the belt pre tentioners under the seat . In fact all yellow plugs you find are to do with srs. Dosent hurt to go round them al with electric contact cleaner . Disconnect the batt then go round them unplug clean re-plug them in . I found mine used to come on every time me or my missis would drive the car as we moved the seat ,this would then set off the srs light so I moved the wires around under the seat to give them more movement ,been ok ever since .
