Sills . Anyone want to go halves ?

Looks like I might have to buy the full bar...... £90 . 7.5 metres. I live 4 miles from Manchester city centre. 60 x 100 with 3.6 mm wall. If I split it , it will give two 3.75 metres enough to do the sills and 950 mm off cut. Ive still got a mate that might be able to get me a 3 metre length.

Surely there must be a better steel stockholder than that ! Where you are,surely! If not,speak to the scrap men - they buy industrial offcuts....new stuff,not scrap....from big fabricators and are generally happy to sell on rather than weigh it in.If not,look on e bay,plenty of metal sold there.

I got 2 lengths of 50x75x3.2 the right length of the sill for a tenna, offcuts from something alot bigger i imagine... Shop around!
