LAND ROVER DISCOVERY 1 SIDE STEPS on eBay (end time 26-Mar-11 20:09:24 GMT)

but lookin at the part number they seem to be for a range rover... could just be my googlin skills or lack of...

could anyone confirm...

my steps knackered from off roading but these look a bit stronger... r lass wont let me get tree sliders, sez its got to look standard if i'm parkin it on the drive..

I have fitted a pair of these to my 200 tdi the brackets from the range rover make them sit too far under the disco, I had to alter mine redrill the holes 25 or 28 mm along the bracket to bring them out and be usable,( you might have to weld a small plate on the front of the bracket ) try to make sure the brackets are for a disco, a really good bit of kit, better than the rubber ones, I would buy them again if I needed some.

so i take it your not goin offroading anymore?

most people rip the steps off and leave them off, they dont fcuk em up and replace them with noo ones and then go offroading again

Depends on how extreme the type of off roading is, most of the guys I know with side steps have ditched them and not replaced them after wrecking them in after a couple of trips out.

im putting tree sliders on mine and just painting them with that non slip stuff so they can be used as ateps. my mrs wont know any different
