Imagine the scene, Doris comes home from nights on Sunday mornin, so i thinks i'll leave er sleep n go n fiddle wiv the disco.
As I run the final cable for my rear work light behind the drivers side fuse box, into the blank switch I have converted to switch it on.off, my right hand index finger becomes firmly lodged in the side of the heater blower control, whilst kneeling on the drive wiv me head under the steering wheel - now I thinks t myself - oh ****, but alas there is hope Doris is sleeping on the sofa, and the living room window is open, so after tugging/twisting and lodging it further, I calls for Doris repeatedly for about 10 mins, then remember my mobile was in my pocket - was being the operative word, i put it in the garage, when i fed the cable through the boot.
So whilst its funny now, it could have been alot more serious, and I could have been in deep ****, so when working alone, have a means of communicating should the worst happen, either that or get Doris to feed cables into little spaces
