Default salisbury into discovery??????

Right i've tried a search on the forum and nothing doing so can anyone give me some advice???

I need to replace the rear axle casing on my Discovery 1 (200TDI) and was thinking would a salisbury fit????? ............ and also what about replacing the front for a salisbury too???? .............. would it work?..... what difficulties am i likely to encounter? ...... am i a person who is ever so slighty mad and requires shooting for even considering this option? (the MRS has said so for years)

Alternatively ........................... anyone got a good rear axle casing going begging???? lol

The diff pan is shot to bits and while i know i can get a replacement pan but the rest of the axle aint too pretty ....... the brake disc crud plate mounts have turned to dust and one of the trailing arms mounts is non to good

Thinking it would be much easier to replace the whole thing or maybe just the case ....... thing is if i'm going to all that trouble i figure i might as well upgrade as i have heard the the salisburys are VERY strong indeed
