Seem to be doing alot of wading recently in my 300 toy and my carpets are getting wet and smelly.

Short of just rippping them out full stop, anyone got any suggestions as to what I could replace them with...???

someone suggested horse stable matting rubber.

anyone got any other suggestions as what I could use or where I can get some of this stable matting???

You'll find rubber matting at yer local agricultural merchants / equestrian suppliers - much cheaper than Machine Mart or Screwfix.
I got 2 8'x4' sheets, 1/2" thick for £30.

nah cos they's got a good 2' of straw beddins, or if ya posh or rich (*cough*letsgoagain1*cough*) ya pony has a bed of posh beddin material.

im a carpet fitter and where i work we have got a carpet called "medisave" its totally synthetic, hard wearing, easy to fit and if you want u can pour bleach on it to clean it. it dont smell no matter how wet you get get it. (we put it in old peoples homes. haha) maybe a cheap/easy fix? let me know if you want any samples. And no im not on commision. hahaha:D take it easy. mrnice

Rip all the carpets out and spray it with pick up bedliner.
or the yanks use 'herculiner' a bit like underseal, but dries hard. I'm not sure what you can get in England. But you get good sound deadening and waterproofing.

It might pay to find out why they are getting wet in the first place.
Check your floorpan hasnt got some small rustholes in it first.
Discos can rot in the floorpan close to the sill.
It's why my carpets have started to get wet in deeper water, might be your problem too.
