Hi guys,
I have searched and not found what I am looking for...
Have a disco 1, which I would like to fit led work light to the rear ladder ( to save from drilling thru bodywork etc.)
Any ideas how I can get thewiring from inside the rear door to outside the door ( preferably withouit drilling.)
Also is there a way to use the purple 12v feed in the back light cluster to feed three circuits ( led work light, 2 x 55w rear lights, and also 12v socket in rear door), what would be the best way to 'split the' feeds???

And lastly.. how would i route the cable from additional dash (switches) to the rear light cluster where I would fit the realys etc.( I have seen disco2's site but no mention of cable routing).

Thanks in advance.

I have a LED high level brake light and from that the two wires were hidden inside behind the rubber window suround then poped through to the inside of the door via the single wire to the window heater element then through the converlooted hose joining the door to the body and so ended up at the rear lights.
You would only have to run a single wire if you can pick-up a good earth from the ladder fixing.

Purple 12v feed? can't say I've noticed that one.
The best way to split any feeds is via a mini 3 or 4 way fuse block or size (ways) to suit the outputs.

The route from dash to rear lights is via the drivers footwell behind the kick panel and the follow existing that is found under both door tread plate and around and under the edge of the boot carpet and up to the rear of the light fitting, thats easy :)
