Rear door handle

Just found that my rear door handle is broken. Possibly someone trying to get in there when it was parked up yesterday.

Anyway with the door locked shut the question is how do I take the door apart to fit a replacement door handle?

Perhaps it's because most times the door can be unlocked with central locking and even opened from inside via the pull handle even with the outer handle missing.

Once the door is open the outside handle replacement is just nuts bolts and clips.

As above - use the interior handle to open it. Not complicated, is it?

After that, yes it's a little complicated isn't it!

I had a similar issue, and also my interior handle didn't open the door. I took the trim panel off from the inside, and after looking at the rods and levers in the mechanism, twigged which one activated the latch to open the door. Strangely, my issue was that the handle stuck in the open position, which in theory should have just opened the door, but it didn't. £0 cost, except for lubricating everything generously.
