Hi, I have sourced a discovery radio / tape with the code however when I entered the code the radio displays "121". Is this reversable with leaving it disconnected through time or is it knacked, Every time I switch it on it always displays "121" and no sound comes out, any help is appreciated folks.

I haven't a clue what 121 is, but depending on what head unit u have u may have a BND button so press that for aprox 3 seconds and 'code in' appears the unit has to be powered.
The other model of head unit the one with a multi CD control you should have wait or code displayed. If you have entered an incorrect code then head unit needs a permanant supply so the delay can time out and allowing u to re-enter the correct code.

Hi, Well I did try this yesterday but it made no difference, I have however ordered a new tensioner from fleebay last week but with the post being so slow getting up to Edinburgh and the fact I could not put up with the squeek any longer decided to give the penny trick a go; maybee my pully is past it, I hope it comes tommorrow. I have also ordered a suspension lift kit & 4 new Marix Panther tyres so looking forward to getting allthis fitted for the snow we have at the mo.

Well, I went to fit the tensioner today and found that the 15mm retaining bolt to be stripped and the aluminium threads came out with the bolt  After some minor drilling and installing a helicoil & a dab of loc-tight all is fitted including a new belt, quite easy and accessible job I must say despite the threaded bolt.
Upon start up it still squeels!!!!!! I have checked the pullys and all are tight:confused: any advice folks????
PS best wishes for 2011 to all on the forum.

I had a problem with mine squeeling, done the penny trick, still the same ! tried a new tensioner , same problem, put a new belt on, still squeeled.
Later I found the belt was fraying, after more inspection, I found it was the power steering pump, replaced it & now it sounds like a new vehicle, cured.
