just bought this and I like everything to be right on my cars so because the steering wheel is slightly on the p**s when driving straight ahead I thought I would call in and get the steering centralised and the tracking sorted.
I was told the tracking is 'within tolerance' and its probably the steering box.... now then surely they could have centralised the steering wheel then tracked it up form there couldn't they?

anyone any ideas?

drag link can be adjusted to align steering wheel if too far out you can undo 2 x bolts on uj that goes on to steering box and move round as bit

Chances are someones tracked it up adjusting the same trackrod end each time so ones shorted than tuther meaning ****ed up steering wheel

If it were me and there is no apparant play in the steering and its not pulling to one side i would adjust the drag link as has already been suggested.

If the car drives straight and the tracking is correct then to adjust the steering angle you adjust the distance on the drag link, not the track rod.

There will be more than enough space on the threads to adjust the setting to get the steering wheel straight.

Ref. quickfit, if there lips are moving then there normaly talking bo£l%cks, the tracking may be within tollerances, but if you asked them to centalise the steering wheel there heads would probably explode.
