Please help - before i get the angle grinder..

1998 300 Tdi, how the bloody hell do i get the 3 cross bars out/off the roof rails.

I have searched/googled/yahoo'd even prayed and i still cant get the fookin things off.

Any ideas before i cut em off.

mine had clips u just pushed n they come off

They have a small springloaded pin on each end of the bar. Just pull to one side and they'll pop out.

Wot Red said..... sometimes easier to get a knife edge down the end of the rail to ease the springloaded end in.

Thanks chaps, knew the praying would pay off.

Seriously though, thank you all who replied, job now done, and left the angle grinder in the garage too - good job cos i'd a probably cut the fookin roof anarl.

Please help - before i get the angle grinder..
