Had the old girl in the shop at work this morning and fitted my recon PAS box. Took 2-1/2 hours start to finish, i was pleased with that (so was the boss :))

Not a bad job to do, got the box with drop arm fitted, new drag link and joints too. Its the first time the steering wheel has pointed straight when driving straight too :) No slop and a smooth feel, nice.

Notes to others...
Take the bolt right out of the UJ clamp, its captive and wont shift unless its out.
Be careful when bleeding, it says undo bleed nipple 1/2 turn and work steering wheel, i did (got a mate to work wheel) and got a face full of fluid :mad:, it does not bleed out at 1/2 turn but comes out at full pressure. Next time i'll try just cracking the nipple off i think (pas fluid tastes like crap:rolleyes:) As soon as the wheel is moved, fluid starts to flow so be careful.

Another job done, thanks again for advice recieved, even though there was not much needed. Busters guide helped too.

D you wanna do mine??!! :D

He he;)

Its not that bad a task really, hardest part was getting one of the stabiliser bracket bolts off, had to cut it in the end and fit two new ones.

get the box with the drop-arm, saves a lot of messing aboot.

careful when bleeding - messy:eek::eek:

if drag link joints need oing then do at the same time.
