Ordering parts

Evening all,

I'm looking on the famous four site looking to order a wheel bearing kit but all the kits say for VIN JA, where as my VIN starts GA. Any ideas how I know if I have the right kit?

year of manufacture would be helpful

200 or 300 etc

Firstly, front or rear? The bearings themselves (and the rear seal) are all the same, but the lock washers are slightly different across the years. JA032850 was the changeover year, so the parts would be described as either pre- or post- this chassis number, not "JA".

It's a 200tdi G reg. I'm looking for the front bearing kit. So if JA was the changover year I'm looking for "Up to JA" as opposed to "JA onwards"? My confusion came from my VIN being "GA" and everything mentioned was "JA"! :doh:

Watch better they usually say "to VIN JA032850" which means untill 1992 and the number or "from JA032851" which means after that....if yours is GA u need this DA2382 DISCOVERY 1 HUB BEARING KIT | shop | www.lrseries.com | L. R. Series kit&page=1

Thanks, an thats nearly half the price of famous four

you be better ordering rtc3429 timken as most kits ive seen dont use genuine or oem as timken tou can get them for£6.5 +vat
