Hi, I am thinking of getting a Bluetooth obd reader and wondered if anyone has had any success with them.
Which obd is reccomended.

As far as I'm aware the Td5 isn't OBD compliant and you will need a hawkeye, nanocom or lynx.

They're more expensive then a generalized code reader but is worth having and will pay for it's self in time

The cheap ebay ELM427 readers do work on the Discovery 2, gives you basic functions but little in the way of depth of coverage once you get past the basic engine parameters and a bit of fault code reading/deleting.
Most are plug-in and need a Laptop to display, but mine was fine for what it cost, I have it still and a Hawkeye.

Unknown to me, the wife had noticed me looking at the readers and decided to order one that Bid Tv are selling. Its a cougar with a built in display on it. It came today and she gave it to me as an early crimbo present,.......... and guess what, it is recognised. At £29.99, it's a miracle it does.

We bought a Hawkeye as well as the OBDII reader, gives you many more options and settings, but it is 10 times the price.
