Nudge bar

Hi all
I bought a nudge bar from billing last Saturday and today tried to fit it only there's one problem the standard disco front bumper stands to proud of the body so I can only get the bottom 2 bolts in line the tops bolts are about an inch out.
The nudge bar is off a disco so im wondering if I need to buy a different bumper ? Any suggestions of a bumper that sits closer to the body ?

I have to take the plastic bumper cover off of mine to get the bar to fit.

It should just come off with plastic clips and then you will need to re-affix the number plate to the metal bumper.

Ive tried it without the plastic part thats when its an inch off the top bolts

Well there's nudge bars and nudge bars but do u mean "A" bar, are u sure it's for your model of disco.. what ever that is, as they are usually a straightforward figment if matching the vehicle that is.

Can you put a picture up of them.

Its a bull bar similar to what the camel trophy used
Ive come to the conclusion that its not for a discovery but am going to try and make an adapter maybe scratching my head abit at the moment though, it fits my dads 110 easy so am guessing if for a defender really.
My other idea is if I was to get an after market front bumper would it give me the room I need for the top bolts on the chassis ends or do they stand just as proud as the standard bumpers.

It would be good to see the brackets that should attach to the chassis, then someone may be able to help

scraped the whole idea now my dads got it bolted on his 110 now
was worth a try but in the end it would have been to much work to adapt it to fit my disco
