Dunno what this one's like but it's absolutely certain to be crap. You would be much better of paying for a decent machine it'll save you a load of stress.

For £35 and youre new to welding forget it, you will struggle like mad and you will end up with bird sh1t all over the place and no weld im presuming its a mig youre afta if you wanting to weld motors if its a stick wlder (arc) forget it anyway you will blow holes in anything but thick crossmembers etc, you want a mig with at least a pub gas (co2) size bottle none of this diddy little bottle crud or gasless ones either its been a while but co2 is easy to come by once ya have a bottle, argon is a much much better gas to weld with but you hafta pay for bottle rental, co2 works ok tho.

You also want a good visor too prefereably a reactorlight one thats seethrough and darkens when you strike the arc much easier for a newbie welder and will save you either going blind or some seriously painfull arc eye, imho welding aint easy especially on motors with paper thin metal, welding a bit of clean sheet steel is easy but welding rusty motors up aint if the metal aint clean it will pop and fart and if you turn up the welder to high you will just blow holes all over the place if you absolutely must do it yourself then find someone who will let ya have a go first and show yas what to do then if you get on with it get yerself a semi decent mig welder.

Just my penneths worth

tom got a power craft (cheapo Wolf tools) arc from Aldi, with the whole kit for 40 quid, and it's alright, welded up the 2nd hand bull bar we've got and a couple of other odd jobs that needed somethin strong.

there doing a Mig welder at the moment for around 80 i think.
