Right have a 200tdi disco, all going great till the other day was having a little play in the holes and hills at the bottom of the farm, parked her up to use the little boys room. Jumped back in and there was not clutch, was really loose so limped her into the garage in Lo box up on the ramp started looking at the hydraulics, bleed the system, still Nothing

No leaks in the pipes or anything. So clamped the pipe from the master to the slave and I had a clutch again. So ordered off Landover a replacement slave, fitted that no problem, bleed the system. Nothing :(

So have a breaking disco and I know the clutch is good on it so swapped master and all pipes too to see if it made a difference. Nothing

I have used 5 lts of clutch and brake fluid and I think about two or three times a felt a little pressure but not only about 40%? Please Help I am completely stuck out of my depth now have put different parts for the whole system and have had NOTHING!! :mad2:

P.s SHE IS AN UNGRATEFULL BITCH :violent:

either rods fell off release arm, or pivot has worn through release arm, remove slave and check rod, they can be hard to remove all the air with damper in near the slave, its often good to bleed master at outlet pipe with two people pressing pedal while opening pipe union and closing union before letting pedal up,then do same with slave

Damper is fine as I am bleeding it down on the slave there is good pressure coming through as it is coming out it dosn't look like there is any air in the system? So am pretty sure the damper is fine. Might have to take the slave apart and check the rod but it was a new part from land rover so doubt it would be faulty??

Took gearbox out and turns out the clutch had gone and in doing so melted the end of the rod and so there was no pressure to push the rod back! So all that time and money spent on the hydralics was wasted!! As it was the clutch.

Thanks for all your suggestions :)
