Need advice

Hi all

I need advice,

I did a full service on my 97 300 tdi disco about a week ago.

The unfortunate thing is I did this after a 12 hr nightshift n not a lot of sleep,
Today Whilst looking round garage I noticed the left over oil I used
to my tiredness I'd bought 15/40w mineral oil instead of semi synthetic.

Will this have caused any damage and should I immediately change it to semi synthetic or will it be ok

no oil will be pefectly allright ,synthetic can be left in longer,thats why they use it

It's put my mind rest knowing it's ok and not going to cause any engine problems.

Cars been running a treat since its service noticed a difference straight away engine seems smoother, god knows when the last owner did the last service.

Thought all Landrovers were self servicing - you put it in at the top as it falls out of the bottom. Constant oil change!

I don't want to tempt fate at the moment I've got no oil leaks or dribbling from the car.

Also daren't mention it when ive been to see my mate who works for land rover Doncaster, they might take it off me and fix it to make it leak haha
