Well, i had my MOT today. It needs a new o/s track rod end, new o/s rear shock, new centre section for exhaust. New wiper blades, welding on rear cross member, weldin on sill, and wheel bearing adjustment. Lol. So I think we can say.... It FAILED.

I took my '94 300 TDi for MOT in early December. My fail sheet was 2 pages. Pretty much all rust though. I'm going to attempt to fix it when the weather improves - until then I've got my '97 ES to get round in, although I'd rather have my green meanie...

Good luck with fixing it - let us know how you get on.

I had to scrap my '94 300tdi. That was the es. It was a death trap lol. I could afford to sort it. I then bought a 98 300tdi and the clutch went, but couldn't afford to sort it as it needed other bits too, so sold that for £600 and bought my old '92 200tdi back for £200. Lol. It's outlived my others.

Mines just had a new NS Sill built and a new OSF Brake pipe - was hoping the sill would last till the summer but my MOT tester mate was far more brutal with his tool than I was!

Err... does that sound wrong?

got lucky this year with our 94 300tdi. O/S front and rear sidelights not working. Quick wiggle on the plugs on the back, job done. Was shock as no adviseries, nor any welding to be done lol.
