Hi there I have a Disco TDI 300, I want to replace the middle box part of the exhaust with a straight through pipe, I have look around and they are between 60 and 70 quid, I am not a tight ass but thats a lot of cash, does anyone know of a cheaper alternative or am I missing something??
Also am thinking of blanking off the EGR, is there anything I need to do to the electrical side of things when I do this??
If anyone has any advice on any of these I would be very grateful as I aint got a clue and can not afford garage prices!!
Thanks guys :D

well.. if you can get the same diameter pipe, its only straight, so its easy to replace.

I got mine off mail order 4x4.. I think, cant remember.

you'll also need an olive gasket for it

Just a word of warning! If you ever decide to de cat the exhaust and have no middle box it will sound like you have no exhaust at all! I had the straight through and had to put the middle box back on as i was waking up all of my neighbours when I started it up in the morning it was so loud. I know some people like it like that but at 70mph it was really loud and too much for me... Put the box back in and now its still got a nice engine note and I got rid of the ear defenders.... :D
