Me again
well think ive broken something , cat n fiddle "very bendy" on way to do some camping ,
made a werid noise "going straight" which can only be discribed as "usshhh ...ushhh ........ usshh usshhh .......ushh"
best way to discribe and i kinda left a stain on seat so checked with nothing obvious and carried onto destination got there had fun and a different route back , did a small 3 usshhs at one point again just slowed down , also did it slowing down for roundabout,
carried on untill on way back just passed buxton driving straight, made the noises followed by a little grind and what felt like a little tug from rear that point well was way past the stain on seat mark,
pulled over me and mate spent a little while under him , yes this ones a him :)
and carried on slowly!
Didnt do it again and doing odd things round town , went to a mates hes no specialist just had one before amd said it might be the " a frame joint or sumet so took a pic for you guys ...

does it look ok ?
Also near my house on a small right hander going 15-20mph it made the noise only quite and a few times
now i noticed it doesnt change pitch or the frequency with speed
anyyy ideas ? :/ :s

Check bearing for play.or take em out either replace them all or re pack with grease.if the bearing goes ur wheel could lock up

piece of p1ss to do and price wise i think in the UK you will have change from 25 quid a corner, try and use timken bearings if you can, i use cheapo ones and have to change em every 3-6 months but then i do a lot of off road and deep wet mud and water but for the cost and availability in the uk i would try and use decent oem stuff as it will last a lot longer.

there are plenty of how to's available on the net and even busters on this site is spot on, its for a tratter but its near enough the same for a Disco so jusyt do a bit of rersearch and crack on, i have it down to about 45 minutes a corner now and thats from tyre up to tyre down including taking off spacers too.

Owwwww sweet ive seen a wheel bearing kit on ebay , i guess its like amything best doing them in pairs ?

Just thought i would update this
did them last night

passengers side was as dry as a nuns fa**y
grease was like dust

drivers side still had water in it and all gritty

also found that the rear pads are down to metal and by disterbing the caliper doing the bearings the brake pipe has a slight leak so gona get parts today and sort them
