Just nipped out for food and noticed my light pattern was a bit swekiff so when I got home I had a look and it's all a bit wrong. Oh in fact before this I noticed that the main beam blue light on the dash was sort of semi-illuminated, not fully on but a wee tiny bit enough to see it anyway.

Right so I have two spotlights that come on with full beam but some how they were dipped too when I had dipped headlights on and when I clicked on for full beam only the spotlights went full the main headlights remained dipped.

It's a 300tdi Disco.

I do quite like the idea of the spots coming on dipped too but not if it's illegal, would rather have the regular behaviour back. Any suggestions apart from burn it etc?

Spotlights going dipped?

NOOOOOOOO! - spotlights aint wired like that - or none i know of, coz you need to have two fillaments in the bulb (or two bulbs).

it os more likely that the spots were having a reduced voltage thru them when yu had dipped beam on, and then full voltage on main beam.

I would disconnect the spots and then trace the wiring - Are the spots through relays or not?
Coz if not, i reckon you have burnt out the contacts or wires on your light stalk.

Usual pish, went out the next day and they were working fine but then new reverse camera failed to work. I think landy's just troll their owners, "haha look what a dick my driver looks when I pretend I'm broke then fix myself lol" etc.
