Installing my EGR kit the other day and where the clanking kit goes on the manifold one of the bolts sheared. I've sourced a new manifold but was wondering how hard it is to install a new one and whether anyone got any tips/instructions?

That happened to me as well. I just drilled it out and used a nut and bolt instead - No problems 2 years on. Much easier and cheaper than replacing the manifold

I would of done that but where I put a self tapper through Ive ****ed it. Anyone no of any guides/instructions?

Changing the manifold is not difficult. If you have a/c you will need to remove the bolts holding it in place and drop the belt off so you can access the front bolts. Turbo heat shield will also need to come off. I recommend that you soak all the mainfold studs and nuts twice a day for a week before removing them otherwise you could snap one.

Other than that just make sure you get a new manifold gasket as well as one for the turbo joint

Anyway u'll have to put a new gasket too;) >
