how to test TD5 MAF ??

hi all ive been working out some problema on my TD5 disco and ive got my new Hawkeye but it keeps comming up with "air flow low " fault logged so i swaped it with another and same problem . live data on the hawkeye reads 0.00 Kg/hr or something like that also driving with it unpluged made no diffrence .. my question is how to test the maf itself via multimeter and confirm if its good or bad(how many ohms accross the pins)and test for power at the plug (how much should it be) ?

so if anyone knows these values please let me know

How was the said MAF reading taken (ignition off/ignition on/engine on)?
What MAF value did Hawkeye show when MAF was disconnected?
