I'm a great fan of the AT2's. I've had them on Xtrail and on a Disco. They are great on road (not too noisy and have a relatively high speed capability) great in snow and great off road up to and including medium levels of mud. I've been stuck with them in deep mud, but then I shoudnt really have taken AT2's in there.

hi, general no longer make the AT2, the new tyre is called AT, take a look at it on camskills web site, they have made it more road biased, cheers elt

I had a set of four fitted, balanced and four wheels aligned for £395 by Strathclyde Tyres, obviously where I got them fitted is no use to you but it gives you an idea of what you can get if you phone round a few places. Well worth the £33 to have them fitted aligned and all that jazz than ordering online and being left sat with four tyres (for me anyway). If they won't drop the price any further start trying to get extras thrown in which is how I got alignment :D

Since when? they're still listed as available on their main website, or this an EU noise issue that's the problem?

When i went over to the dark side and owned a nissan x-trail for 18 months i fitted a set of AT2`s and they were brilliant. The farther in law has had the car for 5 years now and still swears by the at2 tyres, and is now on his 2nd set in the 5 years.

I just received a phone call about my tyres, they are no longer available :( it was hoped that they could supply the last of the old style.

All they can offer is the new General Grabber AT so I have gone with them and they will be here tomorrow. So I will let you all know what they are like?

oh no not the dark side my brother is considering the dark side he is sick of his defender but the AT2 seem to have a lot of praise thanks squizzel and where did kyou get yours from horse?

Just had a set of at2 grabbers fitted and balanced at wheels and tyres direct in beccles suffolk 83 pounds a corner they did have another set when i was there monday.

CharlesY has them, he made national press at the weekend after hauling cars and lorrys up a big hill last week using his D2 fitted with these. Phenomenal!

There was a review of the new general grabber tyres in the October edition of the LRO magazine. They got a good review, but they didnt really test it out in mud - which to my mind was the great added value of the AT2's - they could handle moderate mud quite well - best AT for that in my view.
