Gearbox oil temperate warning light

Hey all, today my gearbox oil temp warning light came on, so I stopped turned off the ignition and then restarted! The light went out after 3 seconds! Within 5 miles of careful driving the light came on again and stayed on for about 15 mins then went off, it has been intermittent since then!!!
Anyone got any ideas or had a similar probs???
The gearbox oil was changed 10 months ago at land rover dealers!!!

Hmmmm strange, or your Td5 is non UK/Europe spec. ......coz as far as i know only NAS used transmission high temperature warning for manual boxes...this warning is mainly used for V8 with autobox, not on manual Td5........ Anyway first of all replace the temp. sensor with a new one(it must be somewhere on the transfer box)
