The gears have always been sticky on the disco but drove a series every day for 3 years so not worried too much.. I've done a search but can't quite find what I'm after but please feel free to point me in the right direction!
2nd gear has always been problematic when cold and a small clunk when stopping & pulling away but not enough to worry about.
It's now developed a judder and a squeak along with this damn clunk when pulling away, mainly in second but it does do it in the other gears but not so badly, again worse when cold.
When serviced oil out of the gearbox had a metallic sheen to it so am I looking at a new gearbox and clutch or does anyone reckon I'll get away with just a clutch?
The doughnut on the rear prop has been done if that makes any difference to the judder.
Any ideas on cost?
