Basically I've tried searching for full plastic wheel arch liners to no avail.

Does anyone know if any are made or will I have to make my own.

Thanks

Simon

Don't know what you mean by "full plastic" as wheel arch liners are only fitted to the rear of the front wheel arch. They are a replacable part so sold by any LR dealer and the rest ie Paddocks, Rimmers, Famous Four etc etc.

wot?
if we are talking about plastic front wheel arch liners - they are only fitted between the inner wing and the outer - not at the rear.
I dont think they were common practice at that time - nothing to stop yu laying up a fibreglass liner tho.

All it does is fill the gap between the inner and outer wing - it goes right from the headlight box around and back to the A pillar, but its only about 6 " wide at the most. It isnt what i would call a liner - more of a filler.

They look more of a full liner to me, Buster - here a couple of pics of the Disco one - the nearside just resting on the tyre - yu can see it isnt very wide, and the offside one fitted - you only have a small lip which fits under the inner wing sections - the rest is a filler to go between inner and outer wing.

I havent seen any fully liners on a Disco1 - but whether the later (2 & 3) models have full liners that would fit ????

As an aside the nearside welding is as i got it - the offside is how I have re-done it.

Thanks for all your replies. I didn't mean I wanted standard replacements, what I was after is something that covered the whole of the inside of the wheel arch.

Guess there isn't one.

Thanks

go and buy or aquire a plastic water butt and cut it in half (down the middle) and cut a section from it and use this to line your wheel arch, some have done this so that is extends outside the wings to also form extended arches on challenge trucks with 35" and 37" tyres!

Hi

I just did a search for wheel arch liner and found this post.
Was discussing this on another forum & decided to search for wheel arch liner to see if any I could modify to fit LR Series 111.

How did you get on, did you find something suitable?
My search is for series truck as you know there's lots of places for muck to rest.

By the 1990's most vehicles had them but I remember when wings rusted around headlights because of road muck & poor if any underbody protection.

Don't want something visible from outside just modify to fit inside wheel arch, maybe truck type.

i'd not bother with em to be honest all they do is hide mud an crap and rust mine got cought on my tyres so i ripped em off and found a right horror story behind them so i fixed it up and gloss blacked it now the crud just hoses off
