Hi,

Just looking for a bit of info with regards to dog guards.

Where is the best place to fix them to on a disco 300tdi to keep the dog in the boot area? I am able to bend a tube to form a frame and then cover with welded mesh and paint so I was going to make my own ;)

Just needed to know the most secure place to mount it so I don't have a half ton german shepherd on my lap :D

I've acquired a guard that want to fit for my Rottie. The attachment bars are supposed to bolt in behind the seat and in front of the rear seat belts. However.... There are no bloody holes to bolt them into! Large screws may do - I hope.

Anyway, if you do a search, there are photos of fitted guards and posts about people's issues wit fitting them.

How old is your GSD?

When you fit a dog Gaurd you have to use Clinch nuts, I have one that is yet to be fitted, if you want the Fitting INstructions they are on the Rave Disc,

I have a copy if your intrested.

Are clinch nuts the same as Rivnuts???

I discovered them today, and the tool etc etc - so I have now managed to fit the thing - I found the rivnuts a bit touch and go, one started to spin when tightened.

Anyway, the dogs a now guarded... which ia little odd as one is a Rottweiler :D

Got the same issue here... Cant find instructions in RAVE tho and EVERY link anyone has put up doesnt work. Anyone help ?
