have ordered aset of poly ones from ebay, done a search on them and found out they may interfere with articulation.

the reason was wanting them is to stop it bottoming out when towing my trailer, there is other factors aswell but now sorted,i am going to be fitting some 265 75 16 tyres, and do a fair bit offroading with it,

are the bump stops better fitted along with a lift kit,or will they be ok on there own, currently have 245 75 16 fitted on 8" mods was fine until started towing trailer but now done camel cut..:confused:hope this makes some scense to someone..

there designed to be fitted with a lift kit to stop shocks from bottoming out and limit the upwards travel of the axle

How on earth does your suspension bottom out when towing? If it does, the noseweight is way over what it should be!!!! Yeah, bump stops are used to prevent tyre-bodywork contact with larger tyres.

lol yeh the tow ball was set too low down apparently when it was going over speed bumps it was pulling down onto tyres but i think its sorted now..thats why i thought extended bump stops might help so it didnt pull down as far..
