Engine breather filter

I snapped the 8mm bolt attaching the engine breather filter box to the engine block, when I was changing the glow plugs (like the ham-fisted tw@t that I am).

I've pushed the filter box back into the hole, but not bolted it back in.

What's the danger of driving it down to the motor factor's tomorrow morning to pick up the new bolt ? Or should I take our lass's motor to get the bit instead ?

Happy to be flamed if it's a dumb question, but couldn't find anything on the search...

you'll have a bit of a leak - suppose it'll be ok it it not far and you don't boot it

but then whats wrong with using your mrs car - is it a auto panda ?
