hello everyone ,
i'm new to the site and i'm looking for any answers that could help resolve my discos frustrating problem pleeeease ! it's a series 2 ,x reg not sure of the exact model as it was an ex met police car but it has heated front screen,hill descent and sport mode if any of these give an indication as to which model.
firstly all dash and switch illuminations fail to light up,bulbs have been checked individually from the vehicle and do work untill replaced into their respective homes. secondly the heating blower refuses to work even though it has been removed,cleaned,tested and been spinning by a separate power source. also the power supply to the blowers multi plug has been multi metered and shows correct current . the climate control is the only thing that still lights up but the fan still refuses to move . could these problems be related please ? and is there a relay or electical gizmo of some sort that runs between the climate control and blower that may be faulty ?
