egr valve advice needed 2004 td5 auto

i have fitted a egr removal kit went straight forward (bought of e,bay) took egr valve away ect fitted blanking plugs fitted blanking plate on only one side of the heat exchange removing pipe as instructions say ect looking on the web some sites say i should also remove the other side pipe from and blank this off aswell just leaving the heat exchange whats right or wrong thanks.

well iv been out today for a run seems alot better (i thought it was good before) apart from a whistling sound which i have never heard before seems alot smoother ect

Just put the blanking plate on the end of the heat exchanger nearest the EGR valve.

Thats what i did and no problems.
