Finally getting the TD5 remapped next week by dynachip.

From peoples expereince it is a noticable difference when its done and do you see any increase in mpg and the need to change down on a long hill on the motorway.

Im in an Auto, so when driving solo it just has power on tap at most speeds, seems not to work so hard, when towing its just a different car, at 50mph and a tonne and a half on the back, over taking lorries doing 55mph is just effortless, once past you can settle back down to 60ish mph, as far as fuel ecom, its better but i have no real figures to tell you as I forget most times im trying to work it out by filling it up and seeing how far I can go, a few days into a tank i plant the pedal in the carpet just to feel the extra shove or some idiot forces my normal driving style to change to a more agressive one.

One thing I didnt realise before the remap with Dynachip, I didnt see the common warping of the manifold after remapping, apparantly gasses are hotter and warp it as studs are not strong enough, mind you im not good around spanners so may get corrected.

Good luck and keep us all posted on what you think.

Recently had my Disco TD5 remapped, and its a very noticeable difference.
As above not sure of the MPG as I'm heavy footed :D
But a lot more power is available now.

Oh one thing if you haven't already, do the EGR capping and de-cat before the remap to get the very best results.
