ive got a L plate discovery with a very early 300 tdi engine registration L994 SSP if thats of any help..

im looking to change the wheels on my discovery and really dont know what the options are, i am aware that there are atleast 2 different stud patterns/centre bores, i dont know what they are or which i have though.

I bought a set of all but brand new steel rims earlier today part no. RRC114560

having looked at them and compared them to my current alloys the centre bore of the wheel and the PCD are alot smaller

im quiet annoyed as i really like the plain steel wheels but am at a loss to what i can fit to my disco

That number suggests you have bought wheels for a D2 , not a D1.

D1 = 5 x 165 (stud arrangement) Offset 33
D2 = 5 x 120 ............................Offset 55

I'm not sure the bore size on the D1 but D2 is 70.1mm
